Continuing the mission of minimal social street art, this work shows the effects of cigarette smoking. In this series of work, I try to spread my message across by sharing the consequences of our wrong actions instead of just ordering.

Here, a cigarette is represented as a fish bait. This symbolizes that cigarette smoking hooks people just the way a fish bait hooks fishes.

The longer they are hooked, the lasting are the scars. If they never leave the hook, they might even end up losing their lives. A cigarette can attract you just like a bait does; it is just a facade to lure you into a deadly web. The idea behind keeping it minimal is that it is very simple. Everyone is aware of the harmful effects of cigarette smoking and still many continue to stick to it. And yes, I understand that just like the fish bait, this above-surface bait is very difficult to leave but it is not an impossible goal. The silver lining is that there is no fisherman, no controller: you yourself are the controller as well as the victim.

I intend to repeat this art work near cigarette joints to hopefully have a negative impact of smoking on smokers.
