With another year to blow your minds off, we brought to you Ice Cream Fest 2019, sponsored by Swiggy, at Chitnavis Centre. Community partner being Platform For Artists and Hello Nagpur as our Social Media partner, Nagpur you have been our biggest supporter and as a token of appreciation to help make the Fest a success in the first edition, we gave away ‘Free Ice Cream For A Year’ vouchers!
This year as well we brought together ten best ice cream stores of the city, and Nagpur you again blew us away with your great support and turnout at the fest. Few of the items loved by all at the Fest were Mango Gelato from Della Italia, Mawa Kulfi from Bombay Kulfi, Shakes from Shakespeare, Charcoal Ice Cream from IceKraft, Pomegranate Kulfi from Frulfi, Ice Cream Burger from Desi Burger, Havmor ice creams, Chocolate Gola from Kismat, Potato Spirals from Tornados and Flavoured Milk from R2X.
The evening started with Ice Cream Eating Challenge organised by Swiggy, hosted by Shruti Tripathi. We witnessed various performances starting with beatbox battle between Symbol Beatbox (Pratik Pawar) and Arham Beats (Arham Khan). To keep the crowd entertained, Sarthak Patil, Sahil Ramtek and Paras Batra from The Komedians made sure everyone had a hearty laugh with their quick wit. To set the mood for the evening, there was a live performance by Raj Jirafe who mesmerised the crowd with his unique Flamenco Style strumming.
To add to the amazement of the people, Sneha Umredkar and her band enticed the young and the old to their feet and the whole venue roared along. Ever felt like you couldn’t stop your feet from tapping to the tunes? We felt the same that evening thanks to Alchemy Dance crew who surely knew how to get everyone grooving and got them ambitious about dancing and hip hop in particular. Lastly came the favourite Rap crew of Nagpur NARC with their very famous song “Garam Hai” which everyone was sure to rap along.
