Palak has graduated from Sri Aurobindo centre in Arts and Communication. She has closely studied the work of all great photographers like Henri cartier, Bresson and Robert Capa. She is also highly influenced by cinema. She learnt about frames and composition first before getting into the technicalities of the camera. That’s how it all began for her.
She says, “It was my first assignment on self-portraits which led me to know myself and turned me into a story-teller. That period of self introspection allowed me to explore my style and my personality. And, I fell in love with documentary photography – a medium through which I could tell and create stories and, at the same time, experience liberation in it. She focuses on wide genres of photography, to discover ways to develop that special ‘eye’ which is the hallmark of a genius. She is these days in Mumbai and getting popular as ‘Bloggers’ Favorite Photographer’.
