Vijay Kumar who is popularly known as ‘The King Of Whistles’, decided to be a whistle singer at his adolescent age. He was just 8 years old then. It was when he saw a man in his late 50’s, whistling LATA MANGESHKAR’S song ‘RASIK BALMA’ from the movie Chori Chori.
Vijay Kumar was highly inspired by the old man and decided to take it seriously, but couldn’t find any support from his family. As they considered it as a vagrant’s act. But he had decided and is now a well known name in the city.
