Onkar, a Theatre enthusiast, has been writing and acting consistently since 2012. He has performed a number of times at venues such as the National Centre of Performing Arts, Mumbai and Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai. He has been actively involved with Stagecraft Adda which is an experimental forum of Stagecraft Theatre, helping in the promotion of new stage talent.
He has been a part of Stagecraft Theatre since the last four and a half years and has been a part of acclaimed plays such as ‘The Wind in the Willows’, ‘A Shot in the Dark’, and ‘Chehel Pehel’, the latter being an adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, which was penned by him. He has also written numerous short plays for Stagecraft Adda, experimenting with different genres and characters of different forms and age. Onkar can be seen performing frequently at various places in Nagpur.
