Ankit – Cyclist
Since childhood, Ankit Bihari had a keen interest in sports. For him Academics was always a second priority. Looking up to his father, who was a National hockey player, he too learned and excelled in hockey. By the age of 16, he played for Nationals. He even played badminton at district level. Being a true sportsperson swimming is another sport which he loves. He is also an active member of Nagpur’s famous musical band “Shivmudra Dhol Tasha Pathak”, earning of which goes to charity. His adventurous side took him to distant places and explore the unexplored. He became a member of an active group of enthusiastic cyclists. Thereafter he participated in couple of marathons. In 2015 he took his passion for bicycle riding to a whole new level by cycling all the way from Manali to Khardung La, a mountain pass located in the Ladakh region of J&K (also the highest motorable road in the world). For Ankit this was just a beginning. For him life is too short to travel the whole world but he will try his best.
