Vishal Patel – Rider

Vishal Patel is 21,he is in his final year of engineering at Ramdeobaba College Of Engineering and management. He is probably the youngest from the region to do a bike trip on the worlds highest road, at the age of 19. Wandering is in his genes, his family is a traveler. They usually do 1-2 big trips a year. Khardungla is the highest motorable road in the world. It stands at an height of 18380ft. Even the most mundane task of talking is tough at that altitude, because of the amount of oxygen present. His other accomplishments include driving on the worlds most treacherous road. According to him 19 is not a mature age for doing these acts. He would like to thank Dukes of Nagpur biking club who helped him prepare him mentally for the act. Parents these days don’t even let their kids get out of the city. He is a wanderer and have been to Ladakh district, Spiti District(worlds most treacherous road), Maharashtra Coastline (konkan) and various places in central India. In all he have ridden for over 20000kms covering various regions of India. Riding helps him achieve a state of nirvana. It has helped him introspect about his life and has brought a great deal of change in his personality and personal life.
