Born in a family of musicians in 1992, Sujay has his entire life set around music. Called as a “born prodigy” by Indian Express; Sujay gave his first Tabla concert at the age of 2. He is a trained table player since childhood. His love for western music began in his early age & he started playing drums at the age of 12. He was also acknowledged as “Central India’s best drummer” in the year 2011. He has played with various rock b&s in Nagpur & also has been a judge for various others. He has to his credit, various drum-solo performances. He has composed various tracks in his musical career & has been appreciated for the same. He is also trained in playing various other instruments like guitar, keyboards, etc. He earned distinction in “Music Production” conducted by “Berklee College of Music” based in Boston. He built his professional record label under the title “ORPHEUS RECORDS” in the year 2014. He also invented an instrument called as “VIOTAR” which is a combination of a fret-less guitar & violin. He was selected amongst 15 artists from all over the world as an audio artist in “International Art Residency” in 2014. Currently he is pursuing Architecture from VNIT, Nagpur & also successfully running his record label. To sum it up, Sujay Uikey for you is a multi-talented personality & an all-rounder in the field of music.
