In August 2012, Meenakshi randomly created a page on Facebook. Since then, her brain-child ‘Hue Struck’ has come a long way. She simply started uploading pictures of her artwork online which eventually grew out to be a whole new world for her to create colourful stories with her paintbrushes. Her art is majorly inspired by this world, it’s places, it’s people and their feelings that co-exist with the mountains, skies and other magical realities. Recently, she has made her work available for people by doing commission paintings and wall murals. None of her paintings follow a similar pattern, whether in terms of ideas or the medium. She uses her instagram handle to connect with people and wishes to turn their imaginations into living works of art. Besides painting, Meenakshi has a hidden love for writing and a never ending desire for travelling and exploring the new, which can be sensed in her work.
